Spent almost 20 hours on the phone trying to get an iphone 6s ported to Total Wireless from T-Mobile. Once it was ported, the phone number never associated with the account and data wouldn't work. Several associates claimed they could not port a number from T-Mobile despite it already having been ported and the issue being elsewhere. cannot call area codes 605-562 (or 605-477) (South Dakota) and more area codes.You will know if you listen to talk radio. They disconnected the numbers starting in January 2016. I was a Defense Mobile customer. When they tanked our accounts were sold to Total Wireless. Which meant if I wanted to keep my same phone number I had to go with Total. Then I learned that Total Wireless is really Verizon, just not with 4G. I don't need 4G (my 1st gen Moto G is 3G), so I made the switch. The BEST part is, I pay only $25/mo. for unlimited talk/text, then I buy the $10 3GB data card which doesn't expire with active service. This data has lasted me FOUR MONTHS so far!! Amazing!! You call the customer service and they say that this is a problem with "some phones" and will be fixed in 4 hours. Well that was AT LEAST 22 hours ago. This is by far not worth the money and the most unreliable cell service there is. We are switching back to Verizon today! I"ve had verizion wireless and straight talk. I get same coverage without spending all the extra money on those plans. I love total wireless. Saves me money.Great reception. I live in the country where its hard to get good reception:)

Add minutes every month. But every month there ia an issue. (Data does not work, cant send text or pics) spoke with managet could care less if we stayed with them or not. Very. Poor customer service.
